ITEP works with schools and industry leaders to give at-risk, underserved kids opportunities to succeed in life. Through ITEP programs and advisory boards, students and schools have shown unprecedented improvements in academics and taken advantage of professional opportunities offered by leading trade, transportation, and logistics companies.

The results speak for themselves. In 2007, Phineas Banning High School made California history as the first and only high school to leave its federal watch list mandated under the No Child Left Behind Programs. Principal Michael Summe credits much of this success to ITEP programs in its ITEP Academies.

ITEP works hard to create valuable academic and professional opportunities for academy students.

ITEP helps connect our students and schools to industry leaders who can help provide programs and services that help vitalize curriculums and students. By connecting academic programs to real-world jobs, students are given a new and exciting reason to learn – and at the end of the day, kids will be that much closer to securing promising, successful, high paying jobs.
